The caregivers who shared the QR code of Emmanuel Macron's health pass on social networks "have been identified" and a referral to their professional orders "is in progress," Health Insurance said on Wednesday, after the leak.
"Health professionals who have had irregular access (to the QR code of the Head of State), in violation of the code of ethics which is imposed on them, have been identified by the National Health Insurance Fund (Cnam) in the Covid Vaccine database, "the organization told AFP.
"A referral procedure for professional orders is underway".
The QR code of Mr. Macron's health pass had been shared in recent days on several social networks.
It had the president's name and date of birth on it.
The Elysee Palace confirmed to AFP the authenticity of the document, deploring that health professionals consulted the vaccine file of the President of the Republic - including the famous QR code - and circulated the data "either through negligence, either by embezzlement ".
All health professionals have access to the centralized computer system set up as part of the vaccination campaign, which allows in particular "to have visibility on the places and dates of vaccinations of primary doses at the time of their second dose. ", indicates the Elysee.
Last week, it was the QR code of Prime Minister Jean Castex, which had been broadcast on social networks, according to a different procedure: Internet users had managed to scan the code from a press photo on which the head of government presented his health pass at the entrance of a public place.
The QR codes of the two heads of the executive disseminated have since been replaced.
"A person noting the fraudulent use of his pass can generate a new QR on the ameli.fr site and measures will be put in place to make these QR codes inactive", also indicates the Elysee.
The QR code of health passes contains the identity of its holder and information on his vaccination status or immunity.
