The rector noted that the agreement with the private security company is valid until the end of January 2022.

On the morning of September 20, a student opened fire from a hunting smooth-bore rifle in the building of the Perm university.

Six people were killed.

During the arrest, the offender resisted and was wounded. 

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the Russian government has allocated about 18.5 million rubles to compensate the victims and families of those killed as a result of the shooting in Perm.
