On September 21, local time, the former Soviet Union’s first nuclear submarine K-3 "Lenin Komsomol" arrived in St. Petersburg, Russia, and will be converted into a military museum. In the future, it will be permanently docked at the Baltic Fleet base in Kronstadt and become Russia. Part of the Central Naval Museum, the museum is expected to open to the public in 2023.

  The K-3 "Lenin Communist Youth League Member" was officially launched on August 9, 1957, code-named "Red October class". It was the first generation of Soviet attack nuclear submarine, which assembled the most advanced military technology of the Soviet Union at that time, and was of epoch-making significance.
