The head of the Ministry of Labor explained that, according to the legislation, it is carried out at a level higher than the annual inflation, which, according to the forecasts of the Ministry of Economic Development, will be 5.8%.

“Taking this into account, the indexation planned in 2022 remains in the parameters of the three-year budget - at the level of 5.9%,” Kotyakov told RIA Novosti.

According to him, the average annual insurance pension will be 18,521 rubles next year, 19,477 rubles in 2023, and 20,469 rubles in 2024.

Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved a living wage in 2022 for pensioners in the amount of 10,277 rubles.
