A 16-year-old teenager was arrested after having speeded at the wheel of a Peugeot 3008 on Tuesday in Saran (Loiret).

The vehicle that the young man was not allowed to borrow because of his age preventing him from passing the driving license was flashed at 120 km / h.

The check took place on a portion of the road where the speed was limited to 70 km / h, says Actu Chartres.

The interception of the minor motorist was carried out as part of a vehicle control operation organized on the Departmental Road 2020 at Saran.

The system put in place by the Loiret branch of the national police made it possible to arrest several drivers who had greatly exceeded the authorized speed.

Other offenders arrested during the operation

On their Twitter account, the police evoked "speeding up to 140 km / h for 70 on the tangential".

They also indicated that they had observed other types of traffic violations, such as license defects or the use of mobile phones while driving.

The police detained driving licenses and immobilized vehicles.
