Germany nominates Ghebreyesus as head of WHO for a new term

"Germany is nominating Tedros (Adhanom Ghebreyesus) for one more term," the Federal Ministry of Health said.

It is noted that this opens the way for the current head of WHO to re-election to the post of director general of the organization.

Earlier, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus spoke about the use of vaccination passports for travel.
