A young employee of the largest vaccination center in Bordeaux appears Wednesday for fraud, suspected of having published about twenty fake health passes "to help out" fifteen people, including her family.

In total, five such procedures are followed in the Gironde prefecture.

She wanted to "be of service".

A young employee of a Bordeaux vaccinodrome is appearing on Wednesday.

She is accused of having published about twenty fake health passes "to help out" fifteen people, including her family.

Arrested Monday after the report of a firefighter doctor and an investigation by the judicial police, she must respond to "scams by a person in charge of a public service mission and data modifications resulting from fraudulent access or maintenance in a automatic data processing system ".

24 sanitary passes for 16 people

During her hearings, this young woman born in 2000 said she wanted to "help out those around her" and not to have been paid, according to the prosecution. She admitted having established 24 fake health passes for 16 beneficiaries, "members of her family and friends of her family". According to the same source, she also admitted to having transmitted to four beneficiaries five false passes generated by another contractual agent whose identity she did not reveal. The use of his phone made it possible to find vital cards and identity cards. This young contract worker, hired on September 1, has no criminal record.

The alert was given on Sunday by a fire doctor from the vaccination center who had notably noticed connections when the center was empty of any patient.

Certificates in the name of people not registered on Doctolib had also been found in the trash of the computer, explains the prosecution.

Five such procedures followed in Bordeaux

Suspicions fell on two contractual agents but the second, also placed in police custody, was quickly exonerated.

The investigation continues into the beneficiaries of the false documents.

The prosecution specifies that five procedures are currently followed in the jurisdiction of Bordeaux for facts of this type, three entrusted to the judicial police and two to the gendarmerie.

One of them gave rise to the opening of a judicial investigation which has so far resulted in two indictments, one of which was placed in pre-trial detention, explained the prosecution. Two other young temporary workers at the Bordeaux-Lac vaccination mega-center, aged 18 and 20, will be tried in corrections in January in Bordeaux after being arrested in August for having established and issued false vaccination certificates, with an overall benefit exceeding the thousand euros.
