It was sometime between 02 and 03 on the night of 19 September that the rape allegedly took place.
Registration came in on Sunday evening.
No arrests
The police have carried out a crime scene investigation and a number of interrogations, but at present no one is in custody in the case.
The police do not currently want to release more information about the suspected rape, but announce that they are particularly interested in getting in touch with four young men and a young woman who should have been seen in the area at the time.
Other people who may have information of interest are also asked to contact the police.
