Alexandra, whose real name is something else, was 17 years old when she met her boyfriend Konstantin.

They wanted to make money to be able to start a life together and Alexandra was persuaded to sell sex in Sweden.

- My first thought was still no, it is clear that I can not sell my body.

But we talked about it more and more, he told us about how much the Swedish men paid.

These were unimaginable sums.

After a couple of weeks, we could go back to Romania and start our new life together with our children, she says in the documentary.

"Grooms in young women"

But once in Sweden, she was locked in an apartment by Konstantin and his friend Stefan, who then raped and abused her - and forced her to sell sex around the clock.

The men themselves kept everything that Alexandra earned.

The police are well aware of the pattern, which they call the "loverboy method".

- It is about using love as a way to groom young women into prostitution.

The perpetrator gets the woman to the point that she falls in love with him, then he puts in this blow that takes her further into prostitution, says Simon Häggström.

- It is a method that is common among the Romanian pimps and has broken the lives of very many young women.

The series "A body for sale" follows the fall of Alexandra and two other women.

It consists of four episodes, the first of which can now be seen on SVT Play.
