In early September, a plane with three Swedish IS women and their children landed at Arlanda in Stockholm, after being deported by the Kurdish self-government.

The women were interrogated by NOA's war crime group after arrival - but then they must have been released into society, according to several independent sources to SVT.

This is despite the fact that IS women have long lived in the world's worst terrorist organization and are suspected of serious crimes such as war crimes.

According to information to SVT, there should also not have been a proper investigation into whether women are still radical and can pose a threat to society.

The reception has been met with strong criticism - and already this autumn, more IS women are expected to be deported and land on Swedish soil.

Sweden has an obligation to receive its Swedish citizens.

Requires investigation

SVT Nyheter has spoken to several people whose relatives are in camps in Syria and can now come to Sweden.

Many testify to both anxiety and frustration before returning home.

“What about cooperation between the various authorities?

There does not seem to be a plan at all ", says a relative.

A man, whose daughter is in a camp in Syria, says:

"They must keep an eye on them (the IS women) and investigate them properly to know for sure if they have committed any crime.

And they need to be rehabilitated so that they can enter and function in society. ”

"Lots of horrible things in the luggage"

Several people are worried that they themselves will not be able to handle their relatives.

"I have been terrified of this day.

How can I handle this? ”Says a woman whose daughter is in a camp in Syria.

"We relatives do not want our daughters and sons to be released that way.

They have a lot of horrible things in their luggage.

How are we going to take care of that?

This makes me worried, ”says another relative.

Many who SVT spoke to think that its relatives must be helped to leave the ideology - and that they should be properly investigated.

A woman, whose sister-in-law is in a Syria camp, says that rehabilitation and de-radicalization must be used at the slightest tendency to "cheer on IS or the Caliphate".

"And if they have committed a crime, they will be punished.

They can not start life again without taking responsibility for crimes they may have committed ”.
