This summer, SVT Nyheter Blekinge reported on how several people on Klakebäcksvägen in Jämjö ended up in a dispute with Karlskrona municipality since their house was to be forcibly connected to the municipal water network.

They had previously been told that municipal water and sewage would not be introduced on their way - but new information came waiting.

- It feels damn good to have to leave everything, Nina Andersson said then about having to pay the fee and possibly having to move from the house.

Discussed fiber drawing

Recently, several politicians have been and visited the affected people in Jämjö to hear their stories.

One of these is municipal councilor Magnus Larsson (C).

- In part, we discussed fiber drawing that they wanted to have several years ago and those I met want a break in the VA planning work, he says.

JO report made

The water dispute has led to a person living on Klakebäcksvägen having JO-reported Karlskrona municipality because it is considered that the process has not gone right.

- It must be handled in the proper order, of course, and then we have to wait for the result.

Now it is important that we have a dialogue on these issues, says Magnus Larsson (C).
