Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, during a speech at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, proposed to recognize illegal all sanctions and actions that prevent the import of drugs.
“Iran proposes that any sanctions and actions that impede the supply of medicines are declared illegal,” TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, Raisi discussed by phone with Russian leader Vladimir Putin cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
