The company Ryde Technology's rental electric scooter bikes suddenly appeared on the streets of both Gävle and Växjö last week.
The municipalities had not been warned about the establishment and criticism has been leveled at the company.

On Tuesday, co-founder Johan Olovsson answered when SVT Nyheter called to ask questions about what the company thinks about its establishment in Gävle and Växjö, and the criticism directed at them.

Johan Olovsson did not want to answer any questions during the phone call, and asked to receive the questions in writing via email instead.
Later in the day, Johan Olovsson replied in an email that he was referring to an article on the news site vxonews.se.
"From our side, we are happy to arrange the activities in the future in consultation with the municipality,
" he tells vxonews.se.
