21 September 2021 "The hacking episode that hit the Region at the beginning of August is a cowardly attack on the regional structure, all the more so because it took place at the height of the pandemic".
This was stated by the Regional Prosecutor of the Court of Auditors, Pio Silvestri, commenting on the episode of the hacker attack on the Ced of the Lazio Region. "In spite of everything - adds the magistrate - the Region has managed to limit the damage. The suggestion we give is the opportunity for greater coordination in IT purchases, to have a more uniform system for responding to attacks. However, appreciation remains for the work done ".
The reply from the president of Lazio, Nicola Zingaretti: "It is an invitation that we will welcome. Policies of greater coordination are already in place. The process is absolutely underway".
