Furugård's memory is still honored by Nazis in Värmland

The Nazi ideology is still alive in Birger Furugård's hometown Deje, despite the fact that 97 years have passed since he founded his Nazi party.

- There are still a number of people in the Nazi environment in Deje.

It is in the places where Nazism was strong early on that it is still strong today, says Lars Stiernelöf, who is the county coordinator against extremism in Värmland.

But despite the fact that the ideas thus survived for almost 100 years, he believes that Birger Furugård will soon be completely lost to history.
