In recent weeks, the mobile vaccination center has visited Linnaeus University on several occasions, where about 500 people have been vaccinated.

Vida Arena has also been visited, and most recently the mosque in Växjö.

But if you live in Markaryd, Ljungby or Älmhult, it has not been possible to take a drop-in syringe, because no bus will get there.

Lena Andersson Nazzal is the vaccine coordinator in the Kronoberg Region.

- The bus belongs to one of our external suppliers who has assignments in Växjö municipality.

We do not control where they vaccinate, says Lena Andersson Nazzal.

Mobile team in Alvesta

Outside Växjö, only Alvesta has something similar going on.

A mobile vaccination bus that can be driven to specific areas, but which is not marketed as a general drop-in.

- We do not market it as such a team, but we go to workplaces where we know that there are people with, for example, a foreign background and it is another way to be able to reach more people.

There are currently no plans to send the mobile vaccination bus to the western parts of Kronoberg.
