This was told by Konstantin Kalinin, a traffic police officer who neutralized the attacker.

A video with Kalinin's story was published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Media.

“After the shot, he fell.

I ran up to him and fixed his hands, after which I removed the gun from him - it was fixed on his belt, ”the policeman said.

According to him, he also removed the bandolier and knife from the attacker and threw them aside.

“I asked him why he did it, he didn’t answer me.

I asked to take off the mask, as it was stuffy for him, ”said Kalinin.

The policeman added that the attacker answered him when asked what his name was.

Earlier it was reported that Kalinin neutralized the shooter, and then provided him with first aid.
