We will remind, on the morning of Monday, September 20, a student opened fire from a hunting smooth-bore rifle in the building of the Perm State National Research University.

As a result of the incident, six people died, another 28 were injured.

The inspector of the traffic police of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Perm, a junior police lieutenant, was able to neutralize the attacker

During the arrest, the offender resisted and was wounded.

It is known that the shooter was trained in a gun ownership program in a private organization, and also, as reported by the UK, in May of this year bought a hunting rifle legally.

As Konstantin Kalinin said, during the arrest, the young man could not answer the question of why he attacked.

“I asked him why he did it, he didn’t answer me.

I asked to take off the mask, as it was stuffy for him, ”said Kalinin.

According to media reports, the suspect's mother during interrogation said that her son had dreamed of becoming a policeman or a military man since childhood, but suffered from bronchial asthma, so "the path to law enforcement agencies through the army was largely closed for him."

The young man entered the Faculty of Law with a degree in forensic examination.
