The United States will allow entry into its territory to travelers vaccinated against Covid-19 from the European Union and the United Kingdom, lifting restrictions put in place in March 2020, CNN and the Politico website reported on Monday .

The media, which each cite several anonymous sources familiar with the matter, specify that the announcement will be made on Monday.

The Financial Times adds that the lifting of the restrictions will take effect in November.

The “travel ban” would then have remained in force for nearly 20 months.
