20 September 2021 The unions announce the permanent mobilization at the end of the meeting with Ita, concluded with a total break on the contract to be applied to the new hires of the company. It can be read in a unitary note.

"During today's meeting with the top management, the unions - we read - Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, Uilt, Ugl Air Transport, Usb, Fast Confsal and the professional associations Anpac, Anpav, Anp, Navaid have formulated articulated counter-proposals and overall regarding the collective agreement and the hiring of workers in Ita and industrial relations ".

"Despite the willingness to dialogue shown by the OOSS - continues the note -, the management has announced that it will proceed unilaterally with the application of the company regulations and with the immediate hiring of workers on call. The trade unions have jointly decided not to abandon the negotiating table until the company agrees to start a serious and constructive discussion, devoid of unilateral initiatives ". "The mobilization that will have to guarantee full levels of employment and the application of the collective labor agreement - the unions conclude - therefore becomes permanent".

The interrupted discussion table concerns the 2,800 workers who will be hired in the new airline. At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the trade unions symbolically occupied the place of the meeting, displaying the flags of the trade unions in the windows. Over 250 demonstrators occupied Viale dell'Arte all'Eur in front of the Ita headquarters and after the breakdown of the negotiation a march through the streets of EUR was organized by the trade unions waiting for tomorrow's demonstration in Piazza San Silvestro in Rome at 10.30 on the Alitalia dispute. The event takes place in conjunction with the hearing of the Ita summit in Parliament. 

Ita, the NewCo, would be ready to initiate

for the personnel to be hired, from tomorrow, and intends to make the 2,800 hires with a company regulation

. The unions show that Ita's job offers include a salary cut of about 38% compared to Alitalia and concern sailors who have higher salaries than ground staff.

Meanwhile, the strike of next Friday, September 24, of air transport workers has been confirmed. Monica Mascia, national secretary of Fit-Cisl, declares this. '' We remind you that, in addition to the Alitalia / Ita dispute, the absence in the air transport system of labor rules common to all companies in the sector based in Italy damages the country and the industrial projects that would be activated in this transport segment. For these reasons, having not yet received a call from the competent ministries, despite the numerous and repeated reminders, the strike of all air transport is confirmed next Friday, 24 September ".
