"Abdollahiyan arrived in New York today at the head of a delegation to participate in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly," TASS quoted the press service of the Iranian government as saying.
It is noted that the Iranian Foreign Minister, during his stay in New York, plans to hold about 25 bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of different countries, as well as heads of international organizations and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
Earlier it was reported that British Foreign Minister Elizabeth Truss will meet on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
