September 20, 2021 "We must choose Peace, it is the only option to repair our destroyed world", important words spoken by the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
Words pronounced on the eve of the International Day of Peace that the UN celebrates tomorrow .
Guterres called '' fighters from around the world to lay down their arms and observe a day of global cease-fire '. "peace is not a pipe dream added -. it is a glimmer in the dark, guiding us on the only path that will lead us to a better future for humanity ".
"We need to renew our trust in each other," he insisted. "Peace and progress depend on our ability to come together as a human family. We cannot let our future be devoured by hatred, division, conflict and mistrust."
Finally he also refers to the environment "it is time to rebuild our world and to make peace with nature".
