Dozens of residents of several towns within the Green Line demonstrated today, Saturday, in front of the Israeli Gilboa Prison near the city of Bisan;

A support for the Palestinian prisoners, and a rejection of the oppression they are subjected to.

The demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and banners inscribed with slogans supporting the prisoners and demanding their freedom and victory.

The participants chanted several slogans, including "From the borders to the borders... Mahmoud taught you," "From Jerusalem to Tiberias... Zakaria taught you," and "Freedom, freedom, freedom for our prisoners."

The demonstrators point to their chants at Mahmoud al-Ardah and Zakaria al-Zubaidi, the prominent resistance fighters among the six prisoners who managed to escape from Gilboa's high-security prison on September 6 through a tunnel they dug, in an operation that the Palestinians dubbed "the Freedom Tunnel".

Five days after their liberation, the Israeli security forces re-arrested 4 of them, and the search continued for the other two captives, including Kammaji and Nafe'at's activist.
