MEP Yannick Jadot and economist Sandrine Rousseau won the first round of the ecological primary and will face each other in the second round organized from September 25 to 28, the organizers of the poll announced on Sunday, September 19.

With 27.70% of the votes of the more than 122,000 registered, Yannick Jadot topped the vote organized online from September 16 to 19, followed by Sandrine Rousseau, with 25.14% of the votes.

Deputy Delphine Batho with 22.32% came third but failed to qualify in the second round, followed by the mayor of Grenoble Éric Piolle with 22.29% and entrepreneur Jean-Marc Governatori with 2.35%.
