18 September 2021 Rai Fiction wins numerous prizes at the first edition of the 'Nastri d'Argento Grandi Serie Internazionali', dedicated to seriality. Nastro D'Argento at 'The brilliant friend' in the Excellence category of international titles, with the actresses with Ludovica Nasti, Elisa Del Genio, Gaia Girace and Margherita Mazzucco awarded as Young Talent Beginners. Also prize to Luca Zingaretti for the twenty years of the historic Rai series 'Il Commissario Montalbano'. In the 'Made in Naples' section Maurizio De Giovanni gets the Special Writing Tape for 'Mina Settembre' and 'I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone'.



Awards also for some very popular protagonists of these series such as Tosca D'Aquino and Massimiliano Gallo. To the 'Mare Fuori' series the Special Ribbon for attention to young people. In the 'Series of the year' section, 'Il Commissario Ricciardi' and Nastri d'Argento Grandi Serie were awarded to Antonio Milo and Lino Guanciale, again for 'Il Commissario Ricciardi'.



A Silver Ribbon goes to the director of Rai Fiction Maria Pia Ammirati. "A prestigious award - he comments - a first edition that rewards the great work of the Rai Fiction team, a quantity of titles that go hand in hand with the quality of our stories, contemporary and vital stories that look at the world and at Italian society and culture in their many facets. I thank the National Union of Italian Film Journalists and its president Laura Delli Colli for having instituted a necessary award for the great world of seriality ".
