President Moon Jae-in leaves today (19th) to attend the high-level meeting of the 76th UN General Assembly in New York, USA.



This is the 5th year in a row at the UN General Assembly since taking office in 2017.



President Moon will attend the UN Sustainable Development Goals and SDG Moment session on the 20th, and BTS, who was appointed as the 'Presidential Special Envoy for Future Generations and Culture' in July, will also attend.



In the keynote speech at the UN General Assembly on the 23rd, as this year marks the 30th anniversary of the two Koreas joining the United Nations at the same time, attention is focused on whether President Moon's new initiative for complete denuclearization and establishment of lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula will be presented.
