At least
two people were killed and 19 others injured
on Saturday in eastern Afghanistan, in the first major attack since US troops left the country shortly before midnight on August 31.
The bomb attack, which caused two deaths and 19 injuries,
occurred this morning in the city of Jalalabad,
capital of the eastern province of Nangarhar, a source from the health authorities told Efe, who requested anonymity.
Among the victims, only three of the injured are civilians, and the rest are Taliban fighters deployed in the city to maintain security, according to the source.
