Hey!

Are they unnecessary, an accident risk or a flexible way to get around?

Share your opinions and experiences of electric scooters here!

Throw them in the river.

Looks miserable with these around traffic lights etc.

In Uppsala, it worked reasonably well with the electric scooters, but last winter Tier came in and the electric scooters are getting worse and worse.

When working on the road, it is not uncommon for electric scooters to be parked where there is already the least space.

Last time I came across it at a road work last night.

It is also very common for electric scooters to stand directly over markings for the blind, obliquely across sidewalks and cycle paths.

("Preferably" on slopes.)

Sometimes I have seen the service car come - and drive past these, even when I waved at them.

What felt strangest from my point of view was when an electric scooter for weeks in the mornings was changed to stand directly across the sidewalk in the street corner and corrected in the evenings.

A service car came and drove past the fault twice.

My friends in permobil can not drive down a normal high sidewalk, but are forced to back the whole block, the blinds risk falling and are frightened by the electric scooters, which whiz past close in both directions.

The more or less normal thing is that two are standing and riding, from time to time I see one, who is sitting and driving (usually shaky then) and someone I see three on an electric scooter!

A lone person also occurs.

I only wear a helmet in cases where someone owns an electric scooter.

They are also usually parked better.

I have never seen anyone other than in the picture.

It is said to be dangerous.

Maybe there should be more requirements.

Fixed requirements are very difficult to set in the country of Sweden.

Listen to those with disabilities who suffer!

Visually impaired / blind people all over Sweden have warned about this since the first electric scooters arrived!

Everyone should be able to take part in the public space!

Electric scooters in general are a good means of transport, but companies that do not take responsibility for them or try to lump it over on users who have no sense cause enormous problems.

Just look at Stockholm or another city where the municipal politicians now realize that it may not be so nice with electric scooters that are thrown everywhere and try to regulate it all.

Electric scooters in general are a good means of transport but ...

Do they find it difficult to get there when you, like me, use a walker.

Heavy difficult to move.

Think it can be smooth.

But I must admit that I am not at all familiar with this that you are not actually allowed to drive others etc.

Although I consider myself quite familiar with traffic rules :-).

Hey!

Is worried just about this with passability on sidewalks.

Have a visually impaired friend who has had a difficult time and needed surgery after falling over these bikes.

Repeatedly.

It is also something that can lead to accidents in that children push each other without a helmet.

Can be a nice feature but inform about what is allowed and guide how they can be used and parked.

Thanks.

Do you think it is a mischief with all bikes / electric scooters etc.

who recklessly drives both on sidewalks and streets, is parked / thrown away anyway and without following any traffic rules.

Bicycles and electric scooters are vehicles and should both have simpler driving license requirements and of course pay road tax.

How long should we motorists pay for their recreational skiing?
