Alexander Abdallah on the name change: "Nice name - but the terrorists have used it"

Alexander Abdallah is first surprised when Fredrik Skavlan asks the question about the name change.

But he gathers quickly.

- It is a very nice name, it means "holy war" and you can make holy war in yourself.

But the terrorists claim to be waging holy war, so they have used it.  

They ruined the name?

- Yes, really, says Alexander Abdallah.

According to Statistics Sweden, 268 people have Jihad as their first name in Sweden.

The name Alexander is all the more common: 85,229 people are called that, according to the same source.
