On September 14, local time, the Israeli government confirmed that one of the victims of a crash in Greece was a witness in a corruption case involving former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The plane was flying from to Samos and crashed when it was about to land. There were two explosions. The Israelis Heim and Esther Giron were killed.
Heim Jilong was the deputy director of Israel’s Ministry of Communications. He was originally scheduled to testify in court on Netanyahu’s allegations of exchanging interests with companies.
The Greek side stated that a team of experts is scheduled to fly to Samos on the 15th to find out the cause.
