The Court of Instruction number 1 of

Móstoles

has summoned the mayor of Móstoles,

Noelia Posse

(PSOE),

to testify as investigated

for an alleged crime of

embezzlement

and

prevarication

by having allegedly forgiven a debt of 2.45 million euros to the company

ITV Móstoles SL

According to the notification of the Court, the Socialist councilor

must testify as an investigated next November 18

in this case initiated as a result of a complaint filed by Más Madrid-Ganar Móstoles, which was admitted for processing last April.

The complaint, to which Efe has had access, was filed last February by the two councilors of Más Madrid,

Susana García

and

Gabriel Ortega

, on understanding that the City Council "forgave the collection of fees" that imply the use of public land for the aforementioned company to develop its activity in the town.

In it, the councilors of

Más Madrid

assured that the decision not to collect the debt responds to the "mere whim of society and the Governing Board of the City Council, as well as the treasurer" who served "the interest of private companies" and not that of the public administration.

"The Administration's need was the collection of the debt contracted by the company and not the cancellation of more than half of the debt, the postponement without guarantees and interest of the debt not forgiven and the reduction of the canon for the next twenty years ", they added in their writing.

In addition, according to the councilors of the formation, said decision, presumably illegal, was taken "despite

the existence of two unfavorable reports

from the controller and the secretary of the City Council", charges that were dismissed after the fact, last May.

From Más Madrid they also recall that this measure was already presented by the current mayor in a Local Government Board during the past term, and that on that occasion it was withdrawn due to the objection of the councilors of

Ganar Móstoles

, who at that time were part of the Government municipal and the Governing Board.

"It is unheard of for a government that calls itself progressive to presumably make a tailor-made tax amnesty for a private company, and even more so with reports on the table that assure that it is a serious illegality," denounced the spokesman for More Madrid Win Móstoles,

Gabriel Ortega

, after filing the complaint.

"We came out of the coronavirus crisis saving companies like this one, saving jobs, lowering taxes for hoteliers, helping merchants and citizens and we have done everything legally, because if not, we would not have done it," the deputy mayor responded,

David Muñoz

(PSOE).

Muñoz has stressed that "the problem is that Más Madrid-Ganar Móstoles votes against any decision that Podemos supports, which is a member of the progressive Government of

Móstoles

; we do not know where they are going to go, they will end up voting with the PP and the extreme right of Vox as they have done on other occasions. "

"We do not waste time in a More Madrid-Ganar Móstoles tantrum, a party whose leaders break up and vote with José Luis Martínez-Almeida's PP in Madrid, they have also broken up in Leganés, leaving the Government and also here they arise of a split of Podemos, "added the socialist councilor.
