It was shortly after 13 on Wednesday that the police were alerted to an address in the Gottsunda district in Uppsala.
A gunshot wounded 30-year-old man was found.
He later died of his injuries.
Local police area manager Jan Håkansson does not believe that the shooting is gang-related.
- Nothing can be ruled out, but not as we see now, he says.
What it is that makes the police not suspect a gang deal, they can not go into at the moment, due to investigative technical reasons.
Slightly elevated presence
Jan Håkansson says that the police normally have a high presence in the area, but that right now it is also somewhat elevated.
Two men are in custody, reasonably suspected of murder.
