China News Service, September 16th. According to the Greek "China-Greek Times" citing Greek media reports, some people recently reported that hackers were found selling new crown vaccination certificates on the dark web, and said that these certificates can "easily pass inspection."

According to the report, fake vaccination certificates sold on the dark web range from US$75 to US$79 (approximately RMB 500).

The reporter found in the comments below the relevant posts that some netizens posted that they had purchased fake certificates and used them in Greece.

The hackers allegedly misappropriated the QR code contained in the real vaccine certificate, one of which was to steal it from social media users who publicly released personal vaccination data.

When asked about the phenomenon of selling fake vaccine certificates on the dark web, a Greek police spokesperson replied that the police are contacting relevant agencies to deal with such incidents.

So far, according to official data, there is no recorded case of online sales of certificates in Greece.

The media pointed out that if the certificate check requires the possession of personal identification, then no one can deceive the authorities.

However, it is not actually necessary to show proof of identity every time.

In addition, no one knows whether these people are actually forging certificates, or that they are just doing it to defraud money.
