Palestinian prisoner Iqbal Qadri revealed new details about their mass escape from the Israeli high-security Gilboa prison, and how four of the six prisoners were re-arrested after a massive chase by Israeli forces that lasted for five days.

The lawyer of the Palestinian Prisoners Authority, Hanan al-Khatib, said, after meeting with the re-arrested prisoner, Yaqoub Qadri, that the latter told her that he knows very well the faces and names of the people who have complained about them and reported them to the Israeli police, and that they did not ask the whistleblowers for water except for the purpose of camouflage, and saluted the people of Nazareth, according to Egyptian newspaper Al-Watan.

Al-Khatib added that the prisoner, Qadri, described his feeling when he breathed the air of Palestine for the first time in 22 years, saying: "The most beautiful 5 days in my life.. Seeing Palestine I will never forget is a dream and come true." Their families, for the first time in 22 years, accepted and embraced them.”

Qadri said that digging the tunnel through which the six prisoners escaped began on December 14 of last year, and revealed that the day of the escape from Gilboa prison was not planned at that time, but he and his companions had to change the day of the escape, after one of the jailers noticed the presence of Sand and clay, and then they decided to execute them on the same night, and he confirmed that he knew the faces and names of the informants who had caused their re-arrest.

Al-Khatib said that Yaqoub Qadri is being held in a cell measuring one meter by two meters, and it lacks all the necessities of life, and that it is stripped of everything except a blanket, and that the investigators who interrogated him after his re-arrest focused on psychological torture, stressing that his spirits are high and he is not interested in re-arrest and no circumstances Isolation is used to it, and he says: "As long as I stay alive, I will search for my freedom over and over again."

It is noteworthy that the prisoner Yaqoub Qadri managed to escape from the Israeli Gilboa maximum security prison in the middle of last week with 5 other prisoners, before 4 of them were re-arrested after 5 days of intensive search and tracing.
