“In essence, the document is a set of slogans and slogans of an anti-Russian orientation, but for MEPs (many of whom got into parliament thanks to Russophobic hysteria in the West), this is an extra opportunity to show themselves - they say, they are true to their principles.

In fact, this document is just another yellow leaf in the autumn forest, we are already used to it and do not notice it against the background of the general landscape, ”the deputy stressed.

Earlier it became known that the European Parliament approved the report of the Lithuanian deputy Andrius Kubilius with an appeal to the EU authorities to reconsider relations with Russia.

It recommends "reviewing the EU's policy towards Russia" and "developing a comprehensive strategy" towards Moscow.

In particular, the author of the initiative believes that Brussels should "counter the threat to security", "fight against Russian interference in the affairs of the EU and the countries of the Eastern Partnership."

It is noted that the decisions of the EP are advisory in nature.
