Recently, Mexico’s local prosecutor’s office said in a statement that Mexican authorities found and rescued 22 foreigners who were kidnapped by unidentified persons in a hotel in San Luis Potosí, central Mexico.

On September 14, local time, the state’s attorney general’s office issued a statement stating that a local hotel was ransacked by gunmen and 20 foreigners in the hotel were kidnapped. These foreigners may be mainly from Haiti and Venezuela.

The armed men drove three vans to the hotel. They destroyed the hotel room and kidnapped several tenants.

The hotel guest records were also taken away, which made it difficult for the police to determine the identity of the kidnapped person.

The police are still investigating.
