Merkel considers negligible progress in resolving the situation in Donbass

Merkel noted that she intends to discuss with French President Emmanuel Macron the work in the Normandy format, since the situation in Donbass is "difficult, and progress in the settlement is negligible." 

Earlier, the German Chancellor, during a press conference following talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that there is "stagnation" in the settlement process in Ukraine.
