As a judge was charged with investigating the

murder of President Jovenel Moïse

, the government commissioner, who is the equivalent of the prosecutor, legally did not have the power to make any request on the case, and that is on this reason that

Ariel Henry therefore dismissed him on

Tuesday, September 14 in the afternoon.

The Haitian president was killed in his residence on July 7 by an armed commando and the sponsors of this attack are still unknown.

Ariel Henry has still not explained himself on the alleged telephone conversations he allegedly had with one of the suspects in the murder of Jovenel Moïse, but he nevertheless received the support of the international community on Wednesday.

Foreign diplomats stationed in Haiti met him at his official residence for a working meeting and, in the evening, the Core group, which brings together the UN, the Organization of American States (OAS) and the main embassies, issued a statement encouraging the efforts of Ariel Henry, political actors and civil society to find a consensual agreement.
