Extremely tough measures in a state that has to deal with a large number of infections and red areas. The first Austrian town to close is Braunau am Inn, a town in Upper Austria on the border with Germany. From midnight on Saturday, anyone wishing to leave the district will have to show the certification of a negative swab not older than 72 hours if molecular and not older than 24 hours if antigenic. The decision was made because the weekly incidence is 335.2. The measure will remain in force until the incidence drops back below 200.
