Last week, SVT Norrbotten reported on a major outbreak in a nursing home in Överkalix municipality.
Around 15-20 people were then infected with covid-19, both staff and users.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the information came from the infection control doctor Anders Nystedt that an elderly unvaccinated person had died.
Strained situation
- The majority of all users and employees at the nursing home are vaccinated, but we have no statistics on the vaccination rate.
