The Mossos d'Esquadra have located this Wednesday the body of a man near the El Prat airport and do not rule out that it is that of the father of Martín Ezequiel, the two-year-old boy murdered at the Concordia hotel in the Catalan capital weeks ago.
The regional police were looking three weeks ago for the alleged perpetrator of the death of the minor, who was murdered on August 25 and whose body was found in the hotel on Avenida Paralelo in Barcelona.
The Mossos consider the father, 44, the main suspect and point out that it could be a case of vicarious violence, this type of gender violence in which the murderer ends the life of a child in common to harm his couple.
