The discotheques of the Community of Madrid may open until six in the morning from 00.00 hours next Monday, September 20, but they still do not allow consumption in the bar or the recovery of the dance floor.
However, if the epidemiological situation continues to improve, in Puerta del Sol the elimination of these prohibitions could be considered within two weeks.
The Minister of Health, Enrique Ruiz Escudero, has indicated this Wednesday that from now on the restrictions against Covid-19 will be reviewed every 15 days, which except for "small tweaks" have been applied for months.
"The relaxation of the measures does not mean at all that the coronavirus is over," he warned.
Among the novelties that will begin to be applied next Monday is the increase in capacity from 50% to 75% inside bars and restaurants, which may close at two in the morning, although the number of six diners per table is maintained as maximum.
100% of the authorized chairs will be allowed to be placed on the terraces and the number of clients in a group increases from eight to 10.
