The case of visa and passport trafficking is still causing a stir in Senegal.

On Wednesday September 15, rappers and activists Simon and Kilifeu, founding members of the citizen movement Y'en a marre, were heard by the examining magistrate who then placed them under arrest warrant.

Simon Kouka and Kilifeu once again spent their day in detention on Wednesday at the Dakar courthouse, before being received by the examining magistrate of the second cabinet in the afternoon. 

The first appearance examination ended shortly before 4 p.m.

They were heard at the same time as Thierno Amadou Diallo, who allegedly filmed Kilifeu receiving sums of money for services related to obtaining a visa.

At the exit, the avocados are very succinct.

They content themselves with listing the charges retained by the investigating judge against the two figures of the Y'en a marre movement: criminal conspiracy, corruption, attempted forgery in an administrative document and attempted migrant smuggling against Kilifeu. .

Me Abdoulaye Tall, one of their lawyers, recalls that they remain calm and that they continue to proclaim their innocence. 

Currently placed under arrest warrant during the investigation, the two rappers and activists will be heard again as part of the investigation to determine their degree of involvement in this affair.
