• Since Wednesday, the staff of healthcare establishments must have received at least one dose of vaccine against the coronavirus under penalty of being prevented from exercising.

  • At the Lille hospital center, only 500 of the 16,000 staff have not yet provided proof.

  • At the same time, in front of the ARS of Hauts-de-France, 300 people demonstrated against the compulsory vaccination of caregivers.

Give the example.

Since this Wednesday, the staff of health establishments must have received at least one dose of vaccine against the coronavirus in order to be able to continue to exercise.

At the Lille University Hospital Center (CHU), the vaccination rate of the personnel concerned is close to “perfect”.

"More than 97% of the 16,000 professionals of the University Hospital of Lille have provided their proof of vaccination or vaccination schedule started", assured, on Wednesday, the management of the establishment.

There are therefore less than 500 who have not yet had their first dose or have not yet provided proof.

An impressive rate which owes nothing to chance since the establishment has encouraged its employees to be vaccinated for months.

In early July, almost three quarters were already.

The recalcitrant will be "unable to exercise"

For any last recalcitrant, the management of the CHU warns that it will not hesitate to apply "the provisions provided for by law" by putting them "in the impossibility of exercising".

A priori, no sanction has been taken so far against staff for failing to present the health pass.

On August 20, however, two agents from the Armentières hospital were received by the human resources department of their establishment for lack of being able to present a valid health pass during a check carried out the day before.

“These two agents have decided to take annual leave [….], No sanction has obviously been taken against them,” says the hospital.

Nevertheless, the dispute is very present even if it remains quite discreet.

This Wednesday morning, between 250 and 300 people demonstrated in front of the premises of the Regional Health Agency (ARS) against the vaccination obligation and the health pass.

A mobilization that has "no impact on the continuity of care provided to patients received in the services of the Lille University Hospital".
