According to Yang Yongping, director of the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Banna Botanical Garden"), in 2015, the Chinese Academy of Sciences relied on the Banna Botanical Garden to establish the Southeast Asia Biodiversity Research Center based in Myanmar.

Yang Yongping said, Biology Diversity research has become a link between China and Southeast Asian countries.
