From September 14 to 15, the 48th session of the UN Human Rights Council held a dialogue with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (Human Rights Commissioner), Venezuela, North Korea, South Sudan, Laos, Sri Lanka, Dominica, Armenia, Maldives, Tanzania and other countries spoke highly of China's human rights achievements and pointed out that Xinjiang-related, Hong Kong-related, and Tibet-related issues are China's internal affairs and external forces should not interfere.

  Venezuela appreciates the efforts of the Chinese government to eradicate poverty and promote the well-being of people of all ethnic groups across the country, including Xinjiang, and stated that illegal unilateral coercive measures have had a serious negative impact on the human rights of Xinjiang people.

Xinjiang, Hong Kong, and Tibet affairs are China's internal affairs, and external forces must not interfere.

  North Korea opposes relevant countries’ attempts to manipulate Xinjiang-related and Hong Kong-related issues and interfere in China’s internal affairs. It points out that human rights should not be used as a political tool under any circumstances. The UN Human Rights Council and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) should respect National sovereignty and territorial integrity, and non-interference in the internal affairs of countries.

  South Sudan expressed its support for China's implementation of "One Country, Two Systems" in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It is glad to see that Hong Kong residents enjoy extensive human rights and fundamental freedoms. It welcomes China's adoption and implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law.

  Laos and Sri Lanka stated that the principle of non-interference in internal affairs is the cornerstone of the international order.

Xinjiang and Hong Kong are part of China. Xinjiang and Hong Kong-related issues are China's internal affairs, and external forces must not interfere.

  The Dominica stated that it supports China's position and all parties should respect the right of a country's people to independently choose their development path according to their own national conditions.

  Armenia stated that it adheres to the one-China principle, appreciates China's resolute measures to eradicate poverty and creates equal opportunities for the development of all people, and appreciates China's efforts to promote the right to health.

  The Maldives stated that China is an important development partner and Malaysia-China relations are based on mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Reaffirmed support for the one-China principle and China's implementation of "one country, two systems."

  Tanzania stated that respect for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of all countries and non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign countries are the basic norms of international relations.

Oppose the politicization of human rights issues.

Xinjiang-related issues are China's internal affairs, and external forces must not interfere.

Noting the efforts made by the Chinese government to protect and improve people’s livelihood.

China has made great progress in poverty reduction. 99 million Chinese people will be lifted out of extreme poverty by the end of 2020, and their living standards have been completely improved. China has made important contributions to the cause of international poverty reduction.
