According to the investigation, at 22:24 in Pulkovo an aircraft, which was flying from Antalya, made an emergency landing due to a technical malfunction of the engine. 

“The investigators of the Leningrad Investigative Department of Transport organized a set of necessary verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances and causes of the incident,” said Markovskaya.

Earlier, Rossiya Airlines reported that an Airbus A319, flying from Antalya, was caught in a flock of birds when landing at the Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg, which caused one of the aircraft's engines to go into an abnormal mode.

The plane landed safely.

No harm done.
