- We saw that there was smoke from the independent building, which is located in Cloetta's area, says Christian Lind, internal commander of the rescue service Östra Götaland.
The building is 10 times 5 meters and since it is a high-voltage power plant, staff from Tekniska Verken had to make the building without electricity before the extinguishing work could begin.
- We have extinguished the fire outside and continue the work inside, says Christian Lind to SVT Nyheter Öst shortly after 7 pm.
There were four rescue vehicles on site and 10 people worked on the extinguishing work.
At 19.25, the rescue service announces that the fire was extinguished. Staff from Cloetta and Tekniska verken will take care of the follow-up.
