In both cases, the man has been exposed with the help of hidden recording equipment.

The recordings have been decisive for the decision in the Real Estate Inspectorate (FMI).

In connection with the sale of an apartment, the broker is heard to say to the seller:

- I think they sell drugs and have a lot of cash left over.

But you know what?

When their money is in an account, it does not matter, green, yellow, blue or where they come from.

I shit in which.

I would certainly react as a broker, but this is your business.

Deliberately violated rules

At FMI, they take what has happened seriously.

- On the audio file, the broker says that he suspects that the money for the purchase comes from criminal activity and that he should react, but simply ignores it, says David Johansson, head of the operating unit at FMI.

In connection with SVT Nyheter Skåne's review, the man was reported by both his boss at Bjurfors, tenant-owner associations and apartment buyers in connection with two different brokerage assignments.

The broker was aware of shortcomings in apartment renovations and that there were false quality documents, without informing the buyers.

FMI has concluded that the broker has breached its duty to provide information in both cases and issues a warning to the broker.

SVT Nyheter Skåne's review also included audio recordings that FMI is proof that the broker has breached its duty to provide information.

In another decision that was made at the same time, the FMI thus withdraws the broker's registration due to the fact that he deliberately violated the regulations for money laundering.

Denies everything

The broker himself denies having violated any rules.

SVT Nyheter Skåne has searched for the broker without success.

He tells FMI that he had no real suspicions that the apartment would be bought for drug money, but admits that he acted "clumsily and carelessly".

However, that is not enough for FMI, which is thus porting him from the brokerage profession.

SVT Nyheter Skåne reviewed the top broker in the summer of 2020:
