The toll of the collision is heavy.

An amateur motorcycle rider was killed and two others were slightly injured Wednesday afternoon on the Bugatti 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit, we learned from the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO).

"The pilots were immediately taken care of at the scene of the accident by the runway medical team" before the arrival of the SMUR (Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Service), said the ACO in a press release.

A psychological unit set up

“One of the pilots was subsequently transferred to the circuit medical center.

Care was provided continuously, to no avail.

The two other pilots were slightly injured and their vital prognosis is not engaged ”, specifies the press release.

The taxiing on the circuit was organized by the Box 23 club. "In agreement with the organizer, the taxiing has not resumed (...) and a psychological unit has been set up", further indicates the ACO, who expresses his condolences to the family and relatives of the pilot, on which the organization provides no details.
